The Trendiest Street in Mexico

Masaryk, as it is commonly called, is also one of the most expensive shopping districts in the world as well as one of the most-valued street in México.[1] It is the avenue with the most boutiques in Mexico City, where the local jet-set supply themselves. In addition to its boutiques, -- from Armani to Zara -- and jewelers such as Cartier, Bulgari and Tiffany's, some of the most expensive restaurants in Mexico City are found along this avenue.

The statue was placed in the roundabout at the intersection of Av. Presidente Masaryk and Arquímedes on 28 October 2000, on the Czech National Day.
